MelissaOsorio1Melissa Osorio is artistic

Melissa Osorio was born and raised in North Bergen, NJ.  She spent her time growing up participating in the arts through music, writing, photography, videography, and acting.  She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in May 2016 in Communication and Media Culture through Saint Peter’s University in Jersey City, NJ.  It was there that she learned how to express herself through the arts that she entrusted to be her escape when she younger.

From a young age, Melissa has been captivated by the arts. Her journey began on stage in high school, where she had the pleasure of performing in productions like The Three Musketeers and The Murderous Mansion of Mr. Uno. Acting quickly became a passion, especially in the world of comedy, which she loves for its ability to connect people through laughter. She also enjoys the depth and challenge of dramatic roles that push her to grow as a performer.

Beyond acting, music has been a constant in Melissa’s life. She started to learn piano at 6, moved on to clarinet at 9, saxophone at 13, and taught herself guitar at 15. Each instrument gave her new ways to express herself and deepen her appreciation for the performing arts.

Melissa has been honing her craft at Babcock Studios in Denver, CO, where she taken acting and improv classes to refine her skills and challenge her creativity. She is excited to continue her journey, to tell meaningful stories, and to bring characters to life in a way that resonates with audiences everywhere.
